September 2026 – The Shelby County Retired Educators Association recognized Cahaba Valley Elks Lodge’s endeavors to reach out into the community to serve those in need. The Lodge’s efforts to provide support for Family Connection and Oak Mt Mission were also recognized. Mary Ann McKim, Community Charities Chairman accepted the Certificate of recognition from SCERA President Michelle Cain Caiola.
