December 2024 – The Cahaba Valley Elks Lodge #1738 used Alabama Elks Trust grant funds of $2200 to donate to the newly adopted Lodge program, Liberty Learning Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit organization that facilitates current civic and character-building programs in K-12 classrooms. The organization’s efforts will supplement the Lodge’s Americanism Program and Gratitude Grant funded presentation, Know Your Flag. This program is provided to local elementary and intermediate schools. The Foundation orchestrates immersive events that empower schools, parents, local leaders, and businesses to take ownership in the future of the community and country.
