On Saturday, May 23, the Cahaba Valley Elks Lodge members and Boy Scout Troop 548, which is supported by the Lodge, assisted the Support Committee for the Alabama National Cemetery’s annual project to place flags in front of the almost 13,000 markers. After completing this activity, the Lodge members and Scouts next placed flags in front of the 70+ Veteran markers located at the Pelham City Cemetery.
