Elks Lodge 1738 supports the ongoing efforts of Manna Farms. All produce grown by Manna Farms is donated to parent organization Manna Ministries which is a food-share ministry. Manna Farms is located behind Manna Ministries at 333 Smokey Road in Alabaster.

A Saturday visit by CVEL PER Sharon
Gaydon and helpful Manna Farm gardener presented Manna Farm Executive Director Andy Ward with a check for $200 to help fund the farm’s new raised beds. The first planting season was successful. The Spring collection has been 500 Ibs onions, 300 Ibs squash & zucchini; 150 lbs potatoes; 290 lbs turnips; 32 Ibs peas. The produce is distributed every Saturday to approximately 750 families who line up to receive fresh vegetables and food staples.
