February 2026 – It was a pleasure to attend the Elk state president official visit to the central District at the Bessemer Elks Lodge tonight. Five members from Cahaba Valley attended the festivities tonight. The lodge was decorated absolutely beautiful. It was such an impressive sight when you walked in the door. Steak 
night was a huge success, and the food was delicious!
2025 – Cahaba Valley Elks Lodge #1738 was well represented at the Jan Midwinter Convention. Five members from the Lodge attended and enjoyed fellowship with representatives from Lodges across the state. The business meeting provided updates on programs that CVEL sponsor for its youth and community.
