Alabama State Elks Convention was held in Decatur on the second weekend of June. Cahaba Valley had 7 members in attendance: ER Shannon Hubbard, PSP Bob Shinpaugh, PSP Bruce Monical, lodge Secretary Leon Johnston, Lodge Tiler Cherie Huey, and Lodge Esquire Howard Prater and lodge member Darron Jordan.
Alabama State Elks Trust donated $50k to The state’s major project Camp ASCCA.

CVEL members attended the annual Alabama Elks Association annual meeting June 4, 2022 held in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Lodge was proud to be asked to post the colors for the opening of the business meeting.
