Cahaba Valley Elks lodge has the pleasure of hosting a Youth Banquet on May 6th to celebrate all of our youth winners 
throughout the year. Presenters were Howard Prater, Americanism Chairman and Sharon Gaydon JROTC Chairman.
CVE had a state winner for their Americanism Essay in all 3 grades:
Alabama 5th Grade Pablos Aragon – Pelham Ridge Elementary
Alabama 6th Grade Hadley Bishop – Helena Middle School
Alabama 7th Grade Abigail Johnson – Helena Middle School
CVE also recognized 2 separate schools Jr ROTC award winners:
